Mother's Day is everyday, not just one day a year!

We hope all the wonderful Mothers out there had an awesome Mother's Day! We have so many great Moms that we look up to! Being a Mother is more than words, so much love, guidance, teaching, and so on! We are sad we weren't able to be with our Moms this holiday but hope they know they are so loved from miles away. Hope they like their gifts and know we think of them often.

We had a fantastic Mothers Day! We woke up early and Peter made breakfast. Then we went to church. After church Peter bought amazing 'cookie crumble Frappuccinos' from Starbucks!! :) We headed home to relax. Our neighbor across the street invited us over for dinner. Nicole loves to bring dessert, so we all headed to the store since she didn't wanna bake on this nice sunny relaxing day. She picked out Banana Split Ice Cream Cake!

Our neighbor across the street is named Korinne. She is so wonderful! We went to her church, love it there. Feels like our home church. Her husband is deployed and she has 3 kiddos. Shes a super Mom and is just full of life! She marinated some pork steaks and Peter grilled them. Lets just say "Heaven in you mouth"! They were so flavorful! We had some great conversation, then came the dessert time! The dessert was THE BOMB.COM, we recommend it to everyone! Such a great day with amazing people and family! Some of the best days are the more low key days!

Again, we hope everyone had a wonderful day! Mother's Day is just one day a year, make sure to give thanks to MOM as much as you can, she deserves to hear it!

We love all the Moms in our lives. Its great to see many new moms and how everyone is getting married, having kiddos and starting their own families! Malachi is a big light in our lives and we continue to give thanks for him! Hopefully someday we can have more adorable, good looking, full of life kids!  :)

Its ok not to understand why things happen

Today is a hard day for us. One month ago today we heard the worst news we have ever heard. We lost our bundle of joy. Mommy was almost 17 weeks and baby had stopped growing at 14 weeks. We are staying strong in our faith. We know that is a reason why this happened, even know we don't understant it. God waited for Peter to be home from tech school and for it to happen before we moved. Not only that the same day 2 years ago we brought our son Malachi home from the hospital. So many things to be greatful for in this hard time. We are also blessed with amazing friends! The same day we found out our friends Dusty and Jeremy came over to give Peter and I a blessing. It was God working threw them. It gave us the strength and peace to get threw the procedure. All we can do is praise God and thank him for everything he has given us. The weekend after this happened we moved to Wyoming. Again God blessed us with our friend Megan. She got back to Seattle from Hawaii with her mom the night before we started our move. She drove Malachi and I all the way to Montana(where she lives). So I could rest the first 2 days of the drive, since I wasn't 100% yet.

We have been doing okay but from time to time we have this saddness that over come us. The hardest part for Peter is that he planned this pregnancy and was so happy to have the baby fit into our new state, new home, and new lives. As for me the hardest part has been the thought of my complications. The pregnancy with Malachi was a rollercoster. The first 4 months I was on bed rest. After that I felt fine, then a month early Malachi came from complications. I had an emergancy C-Section. Now with this pregnancy I had similar problems.

We don't know the cause of the loss but we hope that we can be there for others. We have so many people in our lives who have been threw the same thing. They have reminded us that we can try again and that we are still young. They helped us realize we are not alone and that it was nothing we could have done differently. Its great to have the support and we hope to be there for others some day.

Its ok not to understand why things happen! Just remember to keep faith and know that the man up stairs has a good reason.

Cute White Butt Animals aka Anetlopes

It's been great learning about our new environment. From the first day we have arrived on base we saw what we called "cute white butt animals" aka Antelope. They are everywhere on the base. Apparently they dash out in front of cars and if you honk they are stubborn and wont move. The only problem is that if you hit one you pay a HUGE fine. The speed limits on base are no higher than 30 mph. So, I think if we are on our "A" game we should be fine. Sometimes they are in pairs or sometimes they are in packs of 20 or more. A week ago we seen them on our neighbors yard fighting. They seem sweet, just hope they keep their distance. I don't think they will come after anyone unless they feel harmed. Still a lot to learn about our new furry friends. So far we have also seen wild bunnies. Looking forward to seeing what other kind of animals are here. Just hoping the spiders are not too big here.
